Sensitivity Training Workshop
Dijon, France - March 13-15 2009

We will share with you our philosophies and tools in effective ways of working with children and we will help you to find and express the child within yourself. The workshops are designed to help people have clear communication with children. Ways will be given to help children express their thoughts and feelings in a clear way, to be self confident, to be creative and to appreciate nature. The program also helps children to communicate across cultures and to appreciate and to enjoy differences in themselves and in others.
The two day workshop is for anyone who is working with children in any setting such as schools, counseling, day care, medical settings and parenting. There will be a combination of both theory and experiential exercises. You will leave with practical ideas and activities to use immediately with children in any setting. The intended results are to help you create meaningful and profound relationships with children, regardless of the setting.
The workshop will be presented by Barbara Williams, LSW, ACSW and Heather Williams, BSW. Barbara is the creator of the Kids’ Workshop™, an innovative and preventative program for children. Her work is praised in Carl Rogers’s book, A Way of Being. Barbara and Heather present programs internationally and have been staff members of the IACP, Person Centered Approach Institute in Italy since 1994 and in France since 2003. They have also worked with the Navajo people in the Navajo Nation. Their work is based in part on the philosophies of Carl Rogers and Virginia Satir.
The workshop is confirmed and will be presented March 14-16 in the beautiful setting of Dijon, France.
