French Trip to Navajo Nation

A group of 30 people from France, men, women and children have been invited by the Navajo Nation to visit Indian country. The group will be lead by Nathan Notah, Justin Notah, Barbara Williams and Heather Williams and the main theme of the trip will be experiencing the culture in regard to children.
We will begin by visiting Santa Domingo, other Pueblos and Santa Fe and then go to Taos Pueblo. From Taos Pueblo we will go to the Navajo Nation and spend time at Canyon De Chelly. We will be the guest of Rough Rock School which is a Navajo School in the middle of the Navajo Nation. Children will meet their pen pals and we will have a Kids Workshop with French and Navajo children. There will be translators for both groups of children.
There will be time for communication and learning more about the Indian culture and also how it fits into Person Centered ways of being.
Dates and fees for the 10-day trip will be announced.

Vivre une semaine avec les Indiens Navajos

Il ne s'agit pas d'un voyage touristique. Ce que nous vous proposons n'existe dans aucun dépliant de tour opérateur.
Il s'agit de partager la vie des Indiens Navajos. Quelques éléments fondamentaux de leur culture :
- le refus de la soumission au temps qui s'écoule ;
- le respect du choix de chacun, du rythme de chacun et tout particulièrement des enfants (c'est pourquoi ce voyage est ouvert aux enfants à partir de zéro an) ;
- la connexion avec la Terre et le Ciel ;
- l'absence de compétition.
Participera au voyage : Barbara Williams, collaboratrice de Carl Rogers, qui travaille avec les enfants Navajos depuis plusieurs dizaines d'années. Barbara rapporte que Carl Rogers disait : " Les Navajos étaient rogériens bien avant moi."
Le groupe sera constitué d'au maximum 30 personnes.
